Aimed at outdoor professionals and enthusiasts and also childcare providers working in nature-based learning environments, as the content of the 2 days covers both life-saving skills and care for more common problems that can happen in the outdoors, to both adults and children.
There are 2 ticket options –
1) Outdoor First Aid (Rescue Emergency Care Level 2) which fulfils the requirements of the major outdoor National Governing Bodies for first aid training (e.g. MT, BCU) and is also suitable for Duke of Edinburgh Award and Scout group leaders.
2) Forest School First Aid which complies with Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage in relation to paediatric first aid requirements (up to age 18).
Both certificates can be purchased for an additional £15 if required.
The full course descriptions can be seen by clicking Outdoor First Aid and Forest School First Aid but the main thing I aim to give you on this 16 hour course is the confidence to step forward and help if needed. The course is interactive and assessed through both practicals and outdoor scenarios. The timings are 9am-530pm both days and the cost includes an accredited certificate valid for three years, a manual and drinks.
If you just need a 1 day Basic First Aid for the Outdoors, then please select that ticket option and only attend on the first day.
