Emergency First Aid at Work

Emergency First Aid at Work Course

This 6-hour course is the entry level for occupational First Aid where an organisation’s risk assessment requires emergency First Aiders. It gives participants the skills and knowledge to provide the initial treatment to any adult casualties in their workplace in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

The course mixes theoretical and practical learning and assessment, and the regulated certificate lasts for three years. All courses can be tailored to the audience e.g. INSET for teachers or EFAW for personal trainers working outside.

It also forms day 1 of the 3-day First Aid at Work qualification, so we can add 2 extra days if your organisation’s risk assessment requires the higher level.  For this you can choose a blended option where the first 6 hours are completed online, followed by 12 hours in the classroom.
