This Paediatric First Aid course is suitable for anyone who cares for babies and children, as there are options for 4, 6 or 12 hours of content, depending on your level of interest and required qualification.
It will give you the knowledge and skills to provide the initial treatment for a range of baby and child First Aid conditions and incidents, in a prompt, safe and effective manner. The cost also includes a paediatric manual and refreshments.
The 12-hour Ofsted approved Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is suitable for any childcare professionals e.g. nannies, nursery workers, children’s activity providers and early years teachers. It will give you the knowledge and skills to provide the initial treatment for a range of baby and child First Aid conditions and incidents, in a prompt, safe and effective manner. Click here for the full course description. You can choose the blended option, where the first 6 hours are completed online by watching a series of videos, before spending 6 hours in the classroom.
Alternatively, if you haven’t completed this course at least once face to face before, it is strongly recommended (but not compulsory) that you choose the non-blended ticket option below and the date for the second 6 hour classroom session will be shortly afterwards and chosen based on everyone’s availability. If preferred, then it can be taught via Zoom.
If you only need the 6 hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid course then you can achieve that by just attending the 6 hour classroom session.
Finally parents, grandparents, au pairs and babysitters are welcome to attend for the first 4 hours covering the emergency topics (unconscious casualties, choking, CPR and defibrillators) and receive a certificate of attendance.
