Forest School First Aid – 2 days
24 September @ 9:00 am - 25 September @ 5:30 pm
£140.00Aimed at childcare providers working in an outdoor, nature-based learning environment. This accredited course covers both life-saving skills and also recognition and management of illness and injuries in a forest school setting. It complies with Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage in relation to paediatric first aid requirements.
The course topics can be seen below, but the main thing I aim to give you on this 2 day course is the confidence to step forward and help if needed. The course is interactive and assessed through both practicals and outdoor scenarios, including spending time at a Forest School in nearby Rushall. The timings are 9am-530pm on both days and the cost includes an accredited certificate valid for three years, a manual and drinks. If required, the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate can be purchased for an additional £15.
